The float ring, also known as a "swimming ring", has been developed as a safe and practical aid for net changes in fish farming facilities. The ring is moored in the middle of the cage, and the net can be easily pulled through the opening using a crane. This provides better control and safer handling of both the net and equipment throughout the process.
The construction consists of float tubes in HDPE - a material that combines high impact strength with rigidity and long service life in demanding marine environments. The strong design provides stable buoyancy even with heavy loads and varying weather conditions.
The float ring is supplied in two standard dimensions with a 250cm internal opening:
- Ø500 mm float tube for easier work and handling - buoyancy 1580kg
- Ø630 mm float tube for extra buoyancy and higher load - buoyancy 2710kg
All components are manufactured in corrosion-free HDPE plastic, and can be customized according to the customer's needs for size, buoyancy and mooring solution.
