Stunningtub for Moribund fish

A solid and floating tub in white HDPE plastic, designed for safe and efficient handling of swimmers. The round design and integrated float make the tub easy to drag around the cage – without it getting caught on ropes or nets.

 The stunning tank is designed for gentle and effective killing of suffocators directly in the cage. The tank allows the farmer to carry out the entire process where the fish is, without the need to transport the suffocator in a net to the work boat. This reduces stress, reduces the risk of injury to the fish, and contributes to better animal welfare in line with modern requirements for gentle handling in farming.

The tank is made of impact-resistant, white HDPE plastic that can withstand rough use and marine conditions. The round design prevents the tank from getting caught in nets or ropes, and makes it easy to handle even from small boats. A Ø110 mm float is welded to the outside, which provides stable buoyancy and makes it easy to pull the tank around the cage.

The bottom is inclined for quick and complete emptying, and liter measurements are milled into the side walls for accurate dosing of water and suffocation agent. The top of the tub is reinforced with an extra layer of sheet metal for increased strength and rigidity around the holes that can be used for handling. The holes are not approved lifting points, but the reinforcement provides better durability during manual moving and general use.

The bottom is also designed so that the tub can be handled with a jack, which makes it easy to move the raft during cleaning or when filling.
