The service dock is built on the same principle as our larger floating docks, but in a more manageable and flexible format. The entire construction is made of HDPE for maximum durability, zero maintenance and high resistance to impact, UV, ice and rough maritime use.

The floating elements consist of two solid Ø315 main pipes in SDR26 with cross pontoons at the short ends, which provide a stable and low-lying work platform. On top of the construction, PE gratings (72 × 82 cm) are mounted in double width, which provides a safe, draining and non-slip surface with good grip – perfect when working with ropes, mooring or servicing equipment.

The standard width is approx. 170 cm. This provides a stable platform that is also easy to transport by road, and easy to handle during assembly. The length can be adjusted as needed, and we can supply service piers in a variety of formats that match well with 12-meter pipes: for example 4 m, 6 m or 10 m.

The service pier can be supplied with HDPE bollards that are welded directly to the main pipes. The customer is free to specify the desired number and location.

The result is a light, low and safe work surface with good load-bearing capacity, which behaves calmly in the sea and makes work at quays or fish farming installations easier and more efficient.

Example table with Ø315/SDR26:

Length of pier No. of cross pontoons Gross buoyancy (kg) Approx. dead weight (kg) Net buoyancy / Payload (kg)

4 m 2 791 kg 175 kg 616 kg

6 m 2 1101 kg 240 kg 861 kg

8 m 3 1424 kg 300 kg 1124 kg

10 m 3 1735 kg 370 kg 1365 kg
