Brattland Multifeeder - feeding on the surface and under water
You control the desired feeding depth by the length of the extension tube you purchase.
Put in offer/orderA brilliant advancement of the Brattland Subfeeder 2020 model. Designed to be almost clog-free. You now have the option to combine surface feeding and underwater feeding: Dynamic feeding!
A total of 32 outlets in the bottom frame + a central dispenser in Ø500 pipe. Option to install lights in the frame for even better feed control.
Why feed salmon at deeper levels?
- This is how researchers halved the amount of sea lice in a fish farm using multi-feeding.
- A Brønnøy-based company helps keep lice away from the fish without using cleaner fish.
- When the lice larvae are ready to attach, they swim toward the surface regardless of light conditions.
- Satisfied customers with underwater feeding.
Underwater feeding from 3m to 15.5m depth
- Enables fish to dive deeper and reduces lice infestation.
- Utilizes surplus energy from the aeration air from the central feeding system to pump water and feed down to the fish: No electrical connection required.
- Collection funnel for feed underwater prevents issues with feed containing fat/dust.
- The top part is soundproofed, ensuring almost silent feeding.
- Feeding air pressure can be reduced by up to 50%, thus saving both on hoses and energy consumption.
- No wind drift on the feed.
- Prevents feed from drifting into the upper water layers due to strong currents.
- When using a skirt, feeding can be done under the skirt edge, thus not depleting oxygen in the upper water layer for feeding activity.
- Better water quality in the upper water layer as the feed is dispensed where there is water exchange, and any fat and dust are carried away by the current.
- 4x4m base frame - provides extremely good feed control with center outlet in the middle.
- Can be placed directly on water feeding without modification.
- Controlled feeding in bad weather.
- Only 40cm lifting height for feed into the cyclone requires minimal air pressure.
- Good results both for smolt feeding and large fish with subfeeder.
- No need for bird netting on large fish.
- Seagulls become absent, and fish stress levels decrease, as it's not possible to grab pellets.
Surface feeding with Quattro spreader.
- No moving parts.
- Made of acid-resistant electropolished steel - everlasting.
- Generates 0% crushing.
- 200m2 catchment area without a hole in the middle.
Surface feeding with Cyclone feeding.
- Surface feeding underwater.
- Bird netting not necessary for fish over 1kg.
Surface feeding with Rotor spreader.
- Good dispersion.
- Nice to use for the first 2 months after smolt reception.
- Can be supplied with an extra spreader kit for a wider feed catchment area (smolt kit).
- Double low-friction bearings ensure long life and less rolling resistance.
