New CEO at Akvapartner

After several years of growth, Akvapartner AS has appointed Kristian Brunsvik Olsen as the new CEO. Founder and owner Einar Brattland will move into a dedicated role focusing on product development and customer relations.

 New CEO at Akvapartner

Akvapartner delivers robust quality equipment to the aquaculture industry, with a focus on fish welfare, operational reliability, and practical solutions at the cage side. The solutions help improve feeding control, reduce operational disruptions, and lower production costs for fish farmers.

– I am impressed by the unique products and patents that Einar and the team have developed, and how well the solutions are adapted to the everyday needs of the farmers. It has a real impact for our customers. Better fish welfare, more predictable operations, and lower production costs, says incoming CEO Kristian Brunsvik Olsen.
Olsen is a business economist and has a background as CEO of Studentinord, CFO at Widerøe Technical Services, and Marketing Manager at SpareBank 1 Finans Nord-Norge.

– We have grown rapidly, and the need for more structured work with sales, marketing, and scaling has increased. With Kristian on board, we bring in extensive experience in management, finance, and business development. Now we are clarifying roles a bit and making a clearer distinction between sales/production and development. I can spend more of my time on what I enjoy most: being close to the fish farmers and developing new, practical solutions together with them. Solutions that have a real impact on fish welfare and production costs, says founder Einar Brattland.
